The Project Manager oversees all phases of commercial and multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for project budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and successful project delivery. The Project Manager works closely with owners, consultants, field staff, and trade partners to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
 
Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and multi-family construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate bidding, subcontractor selection, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Monitor job costs, change orders, pay applications, and project forecasting.
  • Coordinate project plans, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
  • Supervise and support Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and building codes.
  • Resolve project issues, subcontractor disputes, and field coordination challenges.
  • Oversee project closeout, punch lists, warranty items, and final turnover documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or multi-family construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and construction operations.
  • Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions. Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, and occasional lifting up to 60 lbs. Ability to operate a vehicle, computer, and mobile devices required.
